The Likeke trail was has tons of parking at the Koolau Golf Course. The trail head is in the back of the lot. You’ll come to a huge graffiti building before heading into the actual trail to your left.
I’m not a baby wearer but the ladies I went with were. Honestly, these ladies rock! I’m not sure I could make some of those other hikes carrying a little human.
As we made our way to the falls we came across some purple flowers and I learned that they taste like mushrooms. Not that I eat mushrooms but everyone was surprised when they tried the plant
Two of the gals were super knowledgeable which made the hike more enjoyable. I’m just getting into hiking because a few months ago I took the kids on Kealia Trail. It legit kicked my A**. This is the first hike since…
If you have little humans you should look into joining the facebook group called Hiking with Keiki this is a great group ranging in experience. I really enjoyed hiking with the people I’ve met from the group.
Now back to the trail! You need to be careful not to miss the blue arrow pointing you towards the falls. If you miss it and keep going straight you will be hiking a lot longer with no visions of waterfalls in your future… Seriously it just loops back to a main road.
Check out this waterfall!!
Once you get to the falls there is a shallow area for the kids to play around in and the waterfall was picture worthy. Overall the hike was very short getting in and out. One that is sure to be my kids favorite and and one we can take out of town visitors to that wont leave them in pain days after haha
Check out my other hikes at Amazing Hiking on Oahu I plan on completing a ton of hikes and showing my readers all the beauty Oahu has to offer.
